In this course, after covering the basic features of the Ottoman Empire, the important steps taken towards the Constitution, the Basic Law period, the innovations brought by the 1909 Constitution, the development process of the Republic Constitutions will be discussed, and in this context, the general characteristics of the 1021, 1924 and 1961 Constitutions will be emphasized. In subsequent lessons, the developments and changes between the original text of the current Constitution and the stage it has reached today will be discussed. Within the scope of the course; The characteristics of the Republic, the regime of limitation of fundamental rights and freedoms, the formation and functioning of the legislative, executive and judicial bodies and constitutional jurisdiction will be discussed.
