Occupational Health and Safety in Aviation
The aim of this course is for students to learn occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, to ensure production and operational safety, to gain knowledge and skills for protecting themselves against hazards related to identified risks, and to understand the impact of OHS awareness on the formation of safety culture. Having a predictive mindset will enable them to detect dangerous situations and behaviors that could lead to accidents at an early stage, assess risks, and understand the development of occupational diseases, as well as the implications of various events they may encounter in working life (occupational accidents, occupational diseases, termination of employment, etc.) and the corresponding penalties mandated by regulations. They will also understand how individuals can contribute to creating a safe working environment in the formation of an OHS culture.
