Motion Control Systems
To provide students with the fundamental principles of position, velocity and acceleration control in motion systems. This course covers the components of motion control systems such as servo motors, stepper motors, PID control algorithms and sensor technologies. Students will gain the skills to design and implement motion control strategies used in automation and robotics applications and learn to develop systems to increase accuracy and efficiency in industrial processes.
