Comperative Politics

This course deals with the comparison of different systems around the world. For this purpose, the course will initially cover the methods and approaches used in comparative politics studies. Following this, it will focus on topics such as political regimes, regime changes, political institutions and processes, political culture, and comparative economic policy. Additionally, each lecture will provide students with perspectives from contemporary politics. At the end of each lecture, there will be a Q&A session during which critical thinking and current and historical examples from Turkey and elsewhere are strongly encouraged.
